Thorsens Chipskartofler A/S has appointed Kim Madsen as the company’s new CEO, effective July 13th, 2026. Kim has been with the company since December 2025 and has worked in the potato industry for more than 25 years.
Kim Madsen has been with Thorsens Chipskartofler A/S since December 2025 and, during this time, has gained a deep understanding of the company’s operations, customers, growers, and business partners. With more than 25 years of experience in the potato industry, he also brings extensive industry insight and a strong network to support the company’s continued development and growth.
The change in leadership comes after former CEO Jacob Roland Pedersen was forced to step down due to illness.
This appointment ensures continuity in the company’s further development and a continuation of the strategic direction aimed at strengthening Thorsens Chipskartofler A/S both in Denmark and in international markets.
Chairman Arne Bisgård welcomes the appointment:
